In these Terms and Conditions “we, our, us”, refer to “Academy Antiques”.

8. SHIPPING
The prices of the antiques that we sell on www.academyantiques.com include packing and shipping charges. We do not include those customs and import duties that you may have to pay upon delivery of the item or items. See CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES for more information.

9. YOUR PASSWORD & ACCOUNT
If you subscribe to any of our services that require a password and/or an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of that password and account. You are also responsible for preventing unauthorised access to your account.
You agree to be responsible for everything that happens in the name of your password and/or account. You must tell us straightaway if you believe that the security of your password is compromised.
Any details you supply to us must be complete and accurate. You must tell us straightaway of any changes.
Academy Antiques reserves the right to deny access to the Website, close accounts, or cancel an order.

For valuations, you agree that at the date the material is sent to www.academyantiques.com the text and pictures are accurate and a true representation, and that the text and pictures will not cause injury to, or defame, any person or entity. You agree to indemnify Academy Antiques against all claims brought by a third party against Academy Antiques arising out of or in connection with a breach of such an agreement.
If we are unable to make a valuation of an item for whatever reason, such as insufficient information, we will explain the problem to you and, if the valuation is still unable to proceed, refund the valuation fee in full.

13. RETURNS
Academy Antiques offers an unconditional money back guarantee on goods purchased. If the goods do not live up to your expectations, based on our photographs, descriptions, and condition reports, then you can return them.
Our full money back guarantee applies as long as you send back the goods in the condition shipped. You must generally pay the return shipping costs.
You must inform Academy Antiques immediately on receipt of goods (within 2-3 days) if you are not satisfied. We will refund the price you paid for the goods when we receive them back from you.
This returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.
When you have downloaded an item from www.academyantiques.com, such as an e-book, we regret that we are unable to refund the purchase price.

14. CUSTOMS & IMPORT DUTIES
You may find that you have to pay import duties and taxes when you order an item from www.academyantiques.com. These may be charged when the item arrives with you.
Such charges are your responsibility. You must comply with the legislation of the country that is the destination of the item. We cannot control or anticipate charges and legislation because they change from one country to another. If you are in doubt, please contact the appropriate authority for more details.
At Academy Antiques, we will respect your privacy. This includes the information you give to us. However, please note that international post may be examined by customs officials.
So as to aid clearance at customs, and to meet local laws, we may give delivery and product details to our shipping agents. The agents may have to give these details to customs officials.
