Measures 14.5" long, 11.5" wide and 9.5" high.
When the top is opened the sides and front open automatically revealing a stunning collection of the best quality cut glass perfume bottles and containers with sterling silver tops, each one hallmarked for London 1879.Consists of 14 sterling silver topped bottles and containers, a gilt brass hand mirror, a small convex mirror and a small concave mirror.
Fantastic gilt brass Gothic gallery.The interior tray with jewellery compartments and a watch stand lifts out of the centre well to reveal another jewellery tray which when lifts out reveals two secret drawers.

The decorative gilt brass mirror in the lid may be removed by the pressing of a secret button which then reveals a writing and stationary compartment for those important "love letters of the Victorian era."
We are very excited by this item which originally was made for an important titled family in England. Makers mark of Betjamens on hinge of box. No need to hesitate as the box will sell itself !!
